Chain of custody, not just delivery
A bundle, a deed or a signed contract is not a parcel. What matters is not only that it arrived but that it can be shown to have arrived — intact, unopened, and into the hands of the person it was meant for.
So it goes on a dedicated van. One driver from your office to the destination, nothing else in the vehicle, no depot, no sorting, no transfer to another carrier. The document is never out of the custody of the person who collected it.
Delivery comes back as photo proof and a signature, with the name of the individual who took it. Where it has to reach a named person rather than a reception desk, say so on the booking and it will.
Deadlines that do not move
Court filing deadlines, exchange, completion, a bundle that has to be with counsel before a hearing — these do not accept a better excuse. The value of a dedicated van here is that the timing depends on one driver and one route rather than a network's overnight schedule.
What we will do is tell you honestly whether a deadline is workable before you book it, rather than accepting the job and hoping. Distance, time of day and traffic decide it, and we would rather have that conversation at the point of booking than at four o'clock.
Collections can be booked at any hour, including early morning and overnight, and enquiries are welcome any time. For firms with regular volume between offices or to the same courts, we will put a driver on a standing run.

How the price works
Distance and vehicle. A document run is usually the smallest vehicle that suits the job, so it is the cheapest form of dedicated delivery we do — a point worth knowing, because firms often assume a courier of this kind is priced as a premium service.
Regular runs between the same points are priced as standing jobs rather than quoted individually, which is how most firms with recurring volume use us.
Business quotes can be shown excluding VAT, and rates are agreed against your actual pattern of work.

Common questions
Who signs for the documents?
Whoever you nominate. If it must go to a named individual rather than a reception desk, put that on the booking and the driver will not hand it to anyone else. The proof of delivery records the name of the person who signed.
Can you deliver to a court?
Yes. Court counters keep their own hours and procedures, so tell us the court and the deadline when you book and we will plan the collection time around the counter rather than the working day.
Can you collect after office hours?
Yes. Booked collections can be at any hour, including late evening and early morning. For firms that regularly need an end-of-day collection, it is worth putting on a standing arrangement.
Is the delivery confidential?
The consignment is the only thing in the van, one driver handles it from collection to handover, and it is not opened, sorted or transferred. Where you want it sealed or bagged in a particular way, prepare it as you wish and it travels exactly as handed over.
Can you run between our offices regularly?
Yes, and that is the most common arrangement. A fixed run on set days is priced as a standing job, and where the schedule allows the same driver does it, so they know your reception, your contacts and where to park.
