How European delivery works with us
We arrange the whole delivery and manage it for you, from collection in the UK to delivery at the address in Europe. The road leg is run by a licensed haulier we work with, and you deal with us from the first call to the proof of delivery.
That matters more for Europe than for anything else we do. Since 2021 a delivery into the EU involves customs paperwork, sometimes a second carrier and always more to go wrong. Having one company to call is the point.

Customs and paperwork
Anything commercial going into the EU needs an export declaration from the UK and an import declaration at the other end. For that the sender needs an EORI number, and the goods need a commercial invoice showing what they are, what they are worth and where they were made.
Personal belongings, for example when someone is moving abroad, need an inventory and the right relief forms, and the rules differ by country. Tell us what is being sent and to where, and we will tell you what paperwork is needed before anything is booked.

Pallets, part loads and personal moves
Most European work is pallets and part loads: a few pallets of stock, a machine, an exhibition stand going out and coming back. Personal moves are the other half: someone moving abroad who needs a van-load of furniture and boxes delivered to a new home.
Both are quoted the same way, by what is going, where from and where to, and how soon it needs to be there.

How European delivery is priced
By the size and weight of the load, the destination, and how soon it needs to arrive. A pallet sharing a lorry with other loads costs less than a dedicated vehicle, but takes longer.

Do I need an EORI number?
For commercial goods, yes. A business sending goods from Great Britain into the EU needs a GB EORI number for the export declaration. It is free to apply for on GOV.UK and usually arrives within a few days.
Can you move my belongings if I am moving abroad?
Yes. Personal moves into Europe are quoted by what is going and where to. Personal belongings need an inventory and, depending on the country, relief forms, so tell us early and we will say what is needed.
